Job Summary
Warehouse Order Selectors are responsible for building customer orders promptly and accurately. Responsibilities include physically lifting and stacking product cases on pallets, selecting customer pallets while operating powered equipment such as electric pallet jacks, and maintaining an aggressive standard of quality and accuracy. Candidates should have experience working in a warehouse environment, must possess strong operational skills with powered equipment, and be able to handle fluctuations in temperature. Overtime and holiday work is mandatory, with an expectation to work 6-7 days a week, 10+ hours a day. Pay starts at $20 per hour, with additional benefits including paid hotel, airfare, travel time, per diem, and weekly pay.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience as a warehouse associate is preferred
- Minimum one year of experience in a warehouse environment as a selector operating powered equipment
- Ability to understand order selection, container stacking, and product movement within a warehouse
- Ability to handle temperature fluctuations in various warehouse environments
- Commit to a minimum of 6 - 8 weeks on assignments
- Steel or composite toe safety shoes required
- Basic math skills
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to hear and understand in moderate to loud work environments
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Vocollect, Talkman, Jennifer, or other voice recognition equipment
- Prior experience in landscaping, construction, roofing, roadwork
Additional Requirements
- Candidates must be available to deploy and travel out of state with a 24-hour notice
- This position is designated as safety sensitive; constant alertness required
