Job Summary
Responsible for all general warehouse functions including loading/unloading, depalletizing, receiving, put-away, pulls and replenishments, and selection of product when qualified and as needed per PWMs. Must operate in freezer/cooler/dry environments with extreme temperatures, use the warehouse management system to record information, and follow PWMs. Duties include selecting product, labeling correctly, staging on pallets, stacking with heavier items bottom side, securing pallets with shrink wrap, inspecting for shortages/damage/quality, completing pallet jack certification, maintaining neat work areas, reporting unsafe conditions, and using MHE (forklifts/pallet jacks) safely. Requires adherence to safety rules (OSHA/HACCP), attendance, and company policies; physical ability to lift up to 50-100 pounds occasionally; ability to read/write/speak in English; ability to work in a team and communicate with supervision and coworkers.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
- Certification on material handling equipment required or ability to become certified
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Six months warehouse experience and/or training preferred
- Reach truck experience preferred
- Crown and/or Raymond reach truck experience a plus
