Job Summary
This role assists the Warehouse Order Processor Supervisor with the daily warehouse order processing team activities, ensures orders are pulled and checked within time constraints, maintains a clean and safe warehouse, and may require working late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays. Responsibilities include preparing and expediting paperwork for replenishment and shipments, communicating changes to branch personnel, serving as the primary liaison between the Distribution Center and branch warehouse staff, striving for excellent customer satisfaction through accurate inventory and documentation, supervising and assisting with product selection and packaging, ensuring inventory, receiving, and shipments are accurately tracked in the system, and collaborating with management on process changes. The position emphasizes leadership of a small team, operational efficiency, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Be a minimum of 21 years of age
- Pass all pre-employment, background check and drug testing
- Have good interpersonal skills and be able to effectively communicate with vendors, managers and coworkers
- Be in good physical condition and capable of lifting in excess of 60 pounds, standing for extended periods of time, able to climb steps and ladders, and capable of bending, stooping, and carrying products up steps, stairs, and down ramps and walkways
- Have previous experience operating warehouse equipment including sit down forklifts, standing forklifts, and standing order selectors
- Have previous leadership experience of at least 3 years
- Have previous management experience of 4 or more people
