Job Summary
Select, assemble, and palletize frozen foods, dairy, produce, and proteins according to pick tickets while safely operating pallet jacks and stock pickers. Account for meeting productivity, accuracy, and safety standards and assist in training new associates. Lift products weighing 40-60 lbs regularly and work in temperatures ranging from ambient to -10°F. Requires high school diploma, one year of warehouse experience, and ability to lift up to 100 lbs. Sunday through Thursday shifts from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM with a salary of $19.00 per hour plus performance incentives.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or a GED
- 1+ years' experience loading and selecting merchandise in a warehouse
- 1-2 years' experience with electric power equipment
- Basic reading, writing and math skills to properly identify products and mark them for delivery
- Ability to understand the slot-sequencing layout of the warehouse and labels that are placed on selected products
- Ability to work in varying temperatures in order to select product from refrigerated, frozen, and dry picking locations
- Ability to follow instructions to work safely, efficiently, and accurately using company provided equipment
- Ability to lift products weighing between 40-60 lbs
- Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, bend, kneel, sit, operate warehouse
- Must be able to use hands to handle and feel objects, perform fine finger movements, reach with hands and arms, and have the ability to see, talk, and hear
- Must be able to regularly lift and carry up to 100 lbs on a regular basis
- Ability to work in a cold environment for extended periods with temperatures reaching -10
- Possess normal vision with or without correction and able to distinguish colors
- Possess fluent speech in English, writing and communication skills necessary to effectively carry out job functions
- Sunday – Thursday 6:30 PM – finish (up to 6:30 AM)
