Job Summary
Read and interpret pick tickets, unit orders, and manifests to locate and pull merchandise from stock areas. Pick, pack, kit, and secure finished goods, rations, and subsistence lines for outbound delivery or pickup. Use forklifts and high-reach pickers to load trucks, then indicate filled or omitted items on picking sheets to maintain accurate tracking. Keep thorough records of outgoing orders and report short supplies, low stock, or damaged packaging to the supervisor. Kit multiple ration components onto individual unit pallets, wrapping and labeling them according to specific troop numbers. Collaborate with Stock Clerks to accelerate processing during high-volume surges, executing manual case-picking in dry and cold-storage refrigeration spaces.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to continuously stand, walk, reach throughout the duration of the shift
- Capability of frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching to pull cases from lower or upper storage locations
- Ability to lift or move products and supplies up to 55 pounds
- Ability to work in cold temperatures
- Close vision

- Strong basic reading, counting, and matching skills
- Speed and agility to maneuver warehouse floors and execute case-picking on tight timelines
- Detail-oriented mindset

Desired Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in order picking, retail fulfillment, or general warehouse logistics
- Forklift license
- Ability to pass a forklift license test within 30 days
