Job Summary
Warehouse Operator responsible for handling fresh produce in a refrigerated warehouse, including picking, packing, staging orders, loading/unloading trucks, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring products meet quality and food safety standards. Performs visual quality checks, uses pick sheets to build pallets to customer specs, wraps/labels pallets with required temperature controls, maintains clean, food-safe areas, and follows GMPs/SOPs and safety procedures. Collaborates with supervisors and other departments to complete tasks, completes inventory paperwork, and participates in routine cycle counts. Requires clear English communication, teamwork, attention to detail, ability to lift/move pallets, and comfort working in cold environments.
Required Qualifications
- Able to communicate clearly in English (written and spoken)
- Must be a team player and able to assist coworkers as needed
- Strong attention to detail, especially with quality and accuracy
- Able to lift, move, and stack boxes or pallets of produce safely
- Comfortable working in a cold environment (refrigerated warehouse)
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work with a sense of urgency
