Job Summary
Maintain storage and organization of products within coolers and freezers to ensure shipment quality. Perform laborer duties including picking, staging, and loading products to complete customer orders. Ensure items are picked accurately by quantity and code date. Remove and store product at designated locations by operating a powered pallet jack while adhering to safety requirements. Operate an RF Scan Gun. Lift at least 50 pounds regularly. Work in a cold environment with minimal freezer time. Team communication and effective safety adherence are essential. Weekend shift available.
Required Qualifications
- ability to adhere to all safety guidelines when operating within the shipping area
- ability to operate a pallet jack with great efficiency
- ability to work in a cold environment including minimal time in the freezer
- ability to work well within a team environment
- ability to communicate effectively with team members
- ability to lift at least 50 pounds regularly
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- at least 3 months of experience and/or training
- combination equivalent of both education and experience
- 6 to 12 months of work history

- Ability to read and interpret documents in English or Spanish, such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals

Desired Qualifications
- Hi/Lo (reach) Forklift experience
- Previous experience as a shipping laborer
