Job Summary
Catalogue, record, and organize materials received at the warehouse; arrange items for order assembly. Fulfill worksheets by reading production schedules and order forms to locate and gather products for distribution to production workers or shipping areas. Assemble, build, wrap, sort, and transport customer orders while operating hand trucks, carts, dollies, forklifts, order-pickers, and walkies. Maintain a clean and safe work area while lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for eight-hour shifts. This role supports Medline's nationwide supply of medical and surgical products to hospitals and healthcare providers, requiring a high sense of urgency and flexibility for mandatory overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to speak, read, and write English with proficiency
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- Basic keypunch skills
- Ability to bend, twist, reach, push, lift for extended periods daily
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours per day for up to 6 days a week
- Must have high sense of urgency
- Flexibility to work mandatory overtime based on business needs
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
