Job Summary
Catalogue, record, and organize materials received at the warehouse; arrange items for order assembly and fulfill customer worksheets by reading production schedules and requisitions. Locate and gather products to move, distribute to production workers or shipping areas, and assemble, build, wrap, sort, and transport orders. Operate hand trucks, carts, forklifts, order pickers, and walkies to transport items while maintaining a clean and safe work area. This role requires standing for 8 hours daily for up to 6 days a week, lifting 50 lbs, and flexibility for mandatory overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to speak, read, and write English with proficiency
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- Basic keypunch skills
- Ability to bend, twist, reach, push, lift for extended periods daily
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours per day for up to 6 days a week
- Must have high sense of urgency
- Flexibility to work mandatory overtime based on business needs
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- 1-3 months related experience and/or training
