Job Summary
As a Warehouse Operator II, you will read production schedules and customer orders to determine items to be moved or distributed. You will prepare products for shipment and sort materials according to predetermined sequences. The role involves operating various warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to load, unload, and stage products. You are expected to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and operate warehouse equipment correctly. The position requires 1 to 2 years of warehouse experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.
Required Qualifications
- High school education or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency
- 1 to 2 years of experience and/or training in a warehouse environment
- Experience using minimum of 4 pieces of warehouse equipment
- Exposure to Tier 1 or 2 warehouse management system or comparable system
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to learn proper operations of warehouse equipment
