Job Summary
Load, unload, stack, sort, and segregate product while operating pallet jacks or forklifts as needed. Maintain proper handling procedures and work with accuracy on product orders, adhering to OSHA safety standards. Palletize goods and materials for truck transportation through coordination with team members and leaders. Perform other duties as assigned. This role supports Arcadia Cold Storage's mission to establish the New Age of cold chain by delivering innovative logistics solutions.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or general education degree (GED) from an accredited institution, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be capable of learning and retaining the skills needed to work in a safe, productive manner
- Must be able to work independently as well as in a team
- Must possess have a solid work ethic, excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work overtime and weekends occasionally as required
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and change direction mid-stream
- Stand Up Forklift experience required
- Reach truck experience required
- Must be able to work at a Warehouse Operator I level as needed for coverage
- Must possess the skills to cross training Warehouse Operator I and II employees as necessary to fulfill customer demands and maintain warehouse efficiencies and productivity
- Must be able to work at a Warehouse Operator I or II as needed for coverage
- Must be comfortable working at multiple height levels within a warehouse environment
Desired Qualifications
- Cold storage warehouse preferred but not required
- Stand Up Forklift, Electric Pallet Jack, Counterbalance Forklift experience preferred but not required
- Experience using other MHE equipment preferred but not required
