Job Summary
Load, unload, stack, sort, and segregate product while performing case picking and palletizing goods for truck transport. Operate pallet jacks, stand-up forklifts, or counterbalance forklifts in accordance with OSHA safety standards. Maintain accuracy on product orders and coordinate tasks through teamwork with warehouse employees. Complete assigned duties independently or as a team member, including cross-training coverage for lower-level roles when needed. Work 4/10 shifts on the second shift with occasional overtime and weekend availability.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or general education degree (GED) from an accredited institution, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be capable of learning and retaining the skills needed to work in a safe, productive manner
- Must be able to work independently as well as in a team
- Must possess have a solid work ethic, excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work overtime and weekends occasionally as required
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and change direction mid-stream
- Stand Up Forklift experience required
- Reach truck experience required
- Must be able to work at a Warehouse Operator I level as needed for coverage
- Must possess the skills to cross training Warehouse Operator I and II employees as necessary to fulfill customer demands and maintain warehouse efficiencies and productivity
- Must be able to work at a Warehouse Operator I or II as needed for coverage
- Must be comfortable working at multiple height levels within a warehouse environment
Desired Qualifications
- Cold storage warehouse preferred but not required
- Stand Up Forklift, Electric Pallet Jack, Counterbalance Forklift experience preferred but not required
- Experience using other MHE equipment preferred but not required
