Job Summary
Load, unload, stack, sort, and segregate product while operating a pallet jack to move goods. Palletize materials for truck transport and follow proper handling procedures with accuracy and attention to detail. Maintain safety standards in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration guidelines and coordinate tasks through teamwork with fellow employees. Perform other duties as needed to support warehouse operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or general education degree (GED) from an accredited institution, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be capable of learning and retaining the skills needed to work in a safe, productive manner
- Must be able to work independently as well as in a team
- Must possess have a solid work ethic, excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work overtime and weekends occasionally as required
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and change direction mid-stream
- Stand Up Forklift experience
- Reach truck experience
- Must be able to work at a Warehouse Operator I level as needed for coverage
- Must possess the skills to cross training Warehouse Operator I and II employees as necessary to fulfill customer demands and maintain warehouse efficiencies and productivity
- Must be able to work at a Warehouse Operator I or II as needed for coverage
- Must be comfortable working at multiple height levels within a warehouse environment
Desired Qualifications
- Cold storage warehouse preferred but not required
- Stand Up Forklift, Electric Pallet Jack, Counterbalance Forklift experience preferred but not required
- Experience using other MHE equipment preferred but not required
