Job Summary

Unload trucks, process receipts in the ERP system, and verify quantities against purchase orders and vendor listings. Stock and store materials in designated areas while operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts to transport items indoors and outdoors. Load and secure products for shipment by cutting strapping, tying down, and bracing cargo. Perform daily counts of inventory, maintain fuel and battery levels, and conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections. Make simple drawings, maintain records, and report unsafe conditions to leadership. Follow all safety regulations and complete other duties as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be able to work in outdoor weather conditions
  • Must be able to work in traffic hazards
  • Must be able to work in delivery site environments
  • Must be able to operate commercial motor vehicles
  • Must be able to perform daily counts of product
  • Must be able to make simple drawings
  • Must be able to maintain records and reports
  • Must be able to follow prescribed safety regulations/guidelines
  • Must be able to report unsafe conditions
  • Must be able to verify quantity and specifications
  • Must be able to check for discrepancies in purchase order number or vendor packing listing information
  • Must be able to stock and store in assigned or designated warehouse areas
  • Must be able to work from computer, scanner, and/or other designated parts lists, shop order, requisitions
  • Must be able to load and secure a variety of company products (components or parts) for shipment by truck or designated carrier
  • Must be able to pack, wrap, box, crate, and otherwise prepare for shipping
  • Must be able to cut and secure strapping, tie-downs, bracing, chocks, and other support materials
  • Must be able to operate sit down and stand-up forklifts
  • Must be able to inspect materials, equipment, fork trucks, and storage facilities daily
  • Must be able to maintain fuel, coolant, and lubricants in vehicles
  • Must be able to ensure batteries are fully charged at the beginning of each shift (if electric)
  • Must be able to unload trucks and process receipts in our ERP system
  • Must be able to check for discrepancies in purchase order number or vendor packing listing information
  • Must be able to locate parts and fill in the necessary paperwork
  • Must be able to train new hires
  • Must be able to perform other duties as required or directed
  • Must be able to work Monday to Friday, 5:00am - 2:00pm
  • Must be able to work Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm
  • Must be able to work onsite
