Job Summary
Pull, stage, and verify product against bills of lading to ensure accurate delivery. Load and brace materials into vehicles per DOT standards, then deliver products to customers while documenting pre- and post-trip inspections. Maintain housekeeping, support emergency response operations including spill clean-up, and report safety hazards. Work with the Distribution Center team to fulfill work orders and manage fleet upkeep. Requires forklift certification, ability to lift 60 lbs, and basic math skills. Full-time onsite role with random drug testing.
Required Qualifications
- 3 or more years work experience with job responsibilities similar to or related to the above listed duties and responsibilities
- Trained and certified in the operation of a forklift
- Be physically able to effectively perform labor intensive activities on a daily basis
- Be subject to random drug and alcohol tested as directed by Management
- Be able to effectively work in a team-based environment, where all team members hold themselves mutually accountable
- Basic reading and writing skills
- Basic mathematical skills
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
- Must have the ability to repeatedly lift up to 60 lbs
