Warehouse Operator (Afternoon Shift)

Job Summary
Responsible for supporting warehouse and shipping operations through the safe and efficient handling of steel tube and pipe products. This role involves picking, packing, staging, and loading materials while maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy, and safety. Operates forklifts, order pickers, reach trucks, and walkie rider pallet jacks to move materials; uses scanning tools to verify order accuracy; maintains safety practices and contributes to efficient shipping/receiving procedures. Shift is 12:00pm-8:00pm, Monday-Friday, onsite in Richmond, KY. Requires detail-oriented, dependable individuals who thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience, preferably in steel or tubing, or equivalent experience
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred; technical training is a plus
- Basic math skills to support accurate order processing
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Problem-solving ability to address day-to-day warehouse challenges
- High attention to detail to ensure order accuracy and adherence to quality standards
- Commitment to maintaining safe work practices in a warehouse environment
