Job Summary
Warehouse / Forklift Operator on 2nd Shift at Kerry's Byesville, OH plant. Responsibilities include safely moving finished goods and materials throughout the facility, loading/unloading trucks, putting away product in racks, tier stacking on the production floor, supporting shipping and receiving (including 3PL), and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Must enter and track SKU, lot code, and expiration dates in forms and RF system, verify materials and codes to meet specifications, stage and deliver materials to production, wrap and stage finished goods, support warehouse operations including shipping/receiving and material handling, use the inventory system to capture movements and maintain inventory accuracy, assist with cycle counts, and perform other duties as assigned while upholding safety and sanitation standards. Requires High School diploma or equivalent, 18+ years old, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Prior experience with electric pallet jack and SAP/MS Excel is preferred; 2:30PM-11:00PM shift; full-time employment with competitive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent required
- eighteen (18) years or older
- 1 year of Food or chemical manufacturing experience preferred
- 6 months of prior electric pallet jack operation and safety certification preferred
- Reliable attendance is important for team operations
- Must be self-motivated and conscientious
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with a team
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Mechanical aptitude and analytical skills to solve mechanical problems
- Ability to complete certification requirements
- Use of MS products, Excel and SAP software preferred
