Job Summary
Warehouse Operator loads/unloads trucks, stocks and moves products to proper locations, pulls stock and stages for shipping, and operates forklift/manlift to ensure accuracy and timely completion of duties. Responsibilities include scanning items, counting inventory, stocking racks, palletizing and wrapping, and supporting shipping/receiving while maintaining safety. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds, work up to 25 feet high, and obtain forklift and manlift certification within 3 months. 1st shift schedule typically 7:00 am–4:00 pm or 8:00 am–5:00 pm, five days a week.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Ability to engage in repetitious bending and lifting
- Operate forklift and manlift (cherry picker)
- Must obtain forklift and manlift certification within 3 months
- Must be able to work up to 25 feet above ground level
- Must not be afraid of heights
- Ability to unload trucks and distribute products to appropriate area of warehouse
- Use scanners to place parts in proper bins and pulls orders
- Stock parts on racks in proper location
- Fill orders from warehouse stock and distribute to shipping or designated staging area
- Place product on pallets and wrap with film
- Count and reconcile physical inventory
- Wear protective toe shoes and work safely
