Job Summary
Warehouse Operator loads/unloads trucks, stocks products in appropriate locations, pulls stock and stages products for shipping, and operates forklift/manlift. Uses scanners to place parts in proper bins, counts and reconciles inventory, and ensures accurate and timely completion of duties. Schedule includes Tue-Fri 9:00am–6:00pm and Saturdays 9:00am–6:00pm in Sinking Spring, PA; hourly rate $17.50-$18.00 based on experience. Requires certification within 3 months, ability to lift up to 75 lbs, work up to 25 feet high, and operate safety-conscious warehouse procedures; benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401K, paid holidays/vacation, and other Meyer Perks.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Must obtain forklift and manlift certification within 3 months
- Must be able to work up to 25 feet above ground level
- Must not be afraid of heights
- Previous warehouse experience and ability to operate a forklift or man lift (cherry picker) preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Forklift certification within 3 months
- Manlift/cherry picker certification within 3 months
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Experience operating forklift or manlift (cherry picker)
- Ability to work up to 25 feet above ground level
- Willingness to operate in a warehouse environment
- Safety-conscious with use of steel-toe footwear
- Previous warehouse experience (preferred)
- Ability to read scanners and use warehouse software/tools
- Able to work a 5-day schedule including evenings, weekends as needed
