Job Summary
Conduct receiving and checking of goods by unloading deliveries, verifying items against paperwork, and inspecting for damage. Manage storage and organization through sorting items into designated locations, optimizing space, and ensuring proper handling conditions. Execute order fulfillment by picking items from stock, packing securely for shipment, and preparing for dispatch. Maintain accurate inventory records while tracking inbound and outbound goods, potentially using management systems. Assist with loading and unloading vehicles, possibly operating equipment like forklifts. Ensure the workplace remains organized, clean, and safe by adhering to health and safety regulations. This role requires physical stamina for lifting and standing for extended periods, along with attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Multiple shift options are available starting from £19.50 per hour, with higher rates for nights and bank holidays.
