Job Summary
Perform heavy lifting and manual handling of goods, including loading and unloading lorries. Operate forklifts and other equipment safely while building pallets for storage or shipment. Accurately pick and pack orders, maintain stock levels, and utilize the warehouse management system to track inventory. Assist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring all documentation is completed. Demonstrate mechanical knowledge for basic equipment maintenance and handle materials with care to prevent damage. Work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility for afternoon or night shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) regularly throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
- A proactive attitude towards safety and compliance with health regulations is essential
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the business needs
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential
- Basic mechanical knowledge is beneficial for equipment maintenance tasks
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus
