Job Summary
The Warehouse Operative is responsible for loading and unloading stock, maintaining accuracy in goods in and out processes, picking, packing, and preparing goods for shipment, as well as adhering to health and safety regulations. Key tasks include communicating with supervisors and logistics coordinators, conducting cycle counts, operating Material Handling Equipment safely, and maintaining records accurately. Candidates should possess strong organizational and communication skills and have at least 1 year of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year proven experience in similar role
- Excellent attention to detail
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience using MHE preferred
- Knowledge of logistics industry (preferred)
- Computer-competent with a working knowledge of logistics software/wms systems
- Strong organisational skills and coordination abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
