Job Summary
Food Packer role within the Gategroup Team at the Newcastle site. Responsibilities include packing food liners to written specifications, performing temperature, quality, and product-date checks, sealing and marshalling items, and supporting Stores, Bond, and Dishwash duties as part of a cross-functional team. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, health and safety, and record entries in the diary log. Exhibit effective verbal and non-verbal communication, meet daily targets, participate in QA/H&S reporting, and adapt to a 4-on-2-off shift pattern (08:00–16:30) with on-site benefits and training. Strong English skills, teamwork, time management, attention to detail, and the ability to work under deadlines are required.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School level
- Right to work in the UK
- CRC (Criminal Record Check)
- 5 years of checkable referencing history
- Ability to work shifts (4 on 2 off, 08:00-16:30)
- English language proficiency
- Experience in fast-paced production/manufacturing or stores environment is desirable
