Job Summary
Conduct picking, packing, labelling, and loading of delivery vehicles to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. Operate multi-skill functionality covering goods in, MHE driving, and vehicle loading while producing delivery schedules for direct dispatch. Liaise with the Customer Service team regarding conignment issues and check returns from company vehicles. Replenish warehouse pick face items daily, carry out stock counts, and handle hazardous materials in line with product data sheets. Maintain a clean, safe working environment complying with health and safety regulations and manual handling guidance.
Required Qualifications
- Full driving licence with no more than 6 points on the licence
- Electric pallet truck certification
- Proven work experience within a warehouse environment lifting heavy goods
- Teamwork skills willing to participate as a full member of the team
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Knowledge in health and safety, manual handling and hazardous substances
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Ideally will hold MHE – (Bendi/Flexi) / FLT / PPT licences to support the operation due to volumes and cover
