Job Summary
Receiving, loading, and unloading deliveries safely while checking incoming goods and storing stock according to FIFO and food safety procedures. Pick and prepare materials for daily production, utilizing the Warehouse Management System to book deliveries and manage stock movements. Complete quality checks, maintain accurate documentation, and perform start-up safety checks on forklifts and other equipment. Keep warehouse areas clean and organized while following all hygiene, GMP, and health and safety protocols. Work with delivery drivers to resolve queries, support colleagues during peak times, and meet warehouse KPIs and targets.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or stores environment
- Experience within food manufacturing
- Forklift Truck (FLT) and/or other MHE certification
- Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene
- Hygiene and chemical awareness
- Good numerical and basic computer skills
- A good eye for detail and accuracy
- The ability to prioritise and stay organised in a busy environment

- Night shift availability (18:00 – 06:00)
- Fortnightly rotating shift pattern availability (Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday; Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)
