Job Summary
Process orders accurately by picking goods from various locations using pick lists and despatch notes, then operate manual and automated packing lines to match products to customer orders. Replenish stock by storing items in correct locations for easy access from the pick face, while maintaining a clean-as-you-go ethic to ensure the warehouse remains neat and tidy. Assist with receiving new supplies, unloading, storing, and allocating stock as required. This fixed-term role runs Monday through Friday during peak pre-Christmas demand, with shifts from 8:30 to 4:30 for picking and 9 to 5 for packing. Based in Steeton, West Yorkshire, the position offers full training on warehouse equipment and access to a subsidized on-site restaurant.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience of working in a fast-paced Warehouse environment
- An ability to work to, achieve and if you can exceed KPIs and targets without close supervision
- Be organised, with effective communication skills including good spoken and written English skills
- Able to work on own initiative, take responsibility and prioritise tasks
- A willingness to assist colleagues when required and having a strong customer service mentality is essential
- An awareness of Health and Safety procedures and safe systems of work
