Job Summary
Check prepared meals for all classes against specification and menu cards, ensuring special meal requests and aircraft changes are verified before uplift. Complete all security checking procedures per DFT requirements, highlighting delays in daily written reports. Act as the final checking point prior to load departure, communicating adjustments to relevant departments and coordinating flight pack figures to meet dispatch requirements. Perform duties to safely meet on-time performance while complying with materials, security, country, safety, and company regulations. Notify unit dispatch and management of any irregular operations or block-outs.
Required Qualifications
- Educated to a GCSE levels
- Extensive experience in a similar role
- Previous experience in the food industry
- Working knowledge of Basic Hygiene
- Ideally some experience in a production/manufacturing/stores environment
- Experience of working in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
- Good English and numeracy skills
- Attention to detail and able to work in a team
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word
- Good oral and written communication skills in English
- Demonstrated gategroup competencies to be successful in the position
