Job Summary
Warehouse Operative role at Alliance Automotive Logistics’ National Distribution Centre in Rotherham. Responsibilities include receiving, unloading, checking incoming goods for quality and quantity; accurately picking, packing and dispatching orders; operating warehouse equipment (pallet trucks, forklifts with training provided); conducting stock checks, cycle counts, and maintaining inventory records; ensuring health and safety compliance; assisting with loading/unloading deliveries; collaborating with teammates to meet daily targets; reporting discrepancies and damages promptly. Requires ability to perform physically demanding tasks, good attention to detail, and flexibility to work shifts including evenings, nights and weekends; basic IT/data entry and scanning skills. Training and development opportunities offered within a dynamic warehouse environment.
Required Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or distribution experience preferred but not essential
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting, standing, walking)
- Good communication and teamwork
- Attention to detail and accuracy in order processing
- Flexible to work various shifts including evenings, nights and weekends
- Basic IT skills for data entry and scanning tasks
