Job Summary
Set up, operate, clean, and monitor production machinery while conducting routine product inspections to ensure quality compliance. Identify and resolve operational issues, escalating significant concerns to supervisors as necessary. Maintain accurate production records, including output quantities and downtime, and complete required documentation such as logs and incident reports. Follow all safety protocols, maintain hazard-free work areas, and perform routine cleaning on machinery and tools. Properly handle, store, and label raw materials and finished products to maintain inventory accuracy. Develop and manage the production schedule, ensuring timely communication with Customer Service. Assist with monthly inventory counts, train new staff, and provide support across saw operations, extrusion molding, and shipping/receiving.
Required Qualifications
- Report to work on time, adhere to the schedule, and maintain reliable attendance.
- Provide support across all Medford departments, including saw operations, extrusion molding, and shipping/receiving, when not engaged in manufacturing.
- Assist with monthly inventory counts and stock control processes.
- Help train and onboard new staff members.
- Communicate courteously and professionally with colleagues to promote a cohesive and supportive work environment.
- Develop and manage the production schedule, ensuring timely communication with Customer Service to align with order requirements.
