Job Summary
Coordinate daily activities within the distribution center, supervising staff on order fulfillment, inventory management, stocking, and material handling. Prepare work schedules, manage labor hours and payroll, and interview or train new team members. Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards while reviewing records for accuracy and resolving inventory discrepancies. Recommend process improvements, assign duties, and prepare reports for leadership. Maintain physical warehouse properties and submit billing to customer services representatives.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalent
- Minimum 3 to 5 years related warehouse and/or distribution center experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year of supervisory experience preferred
- Experience with warehouse equipment
- Experience with warehouse management systems
- Experience with labor management systems
- PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
