Warehouse Operations Supervisor

Job Summary
Coordinate daily activities within the distribution center, supervise staff on order fulfillment, inventory management, and material handling. Prepare work schedules, manage labor hours and payroll, and interview or train new team members. Appraise performance, resolve complaints, and ensure compliance with safety policies and ISO9002 procedures. Trace inventory discrepancies, recommend process improvements, and prepare reports for leadership. Submit billing to customer services and maintain physical warehouse properties. First shift Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm; high school diploma and 3-5 years warehouse experience required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalent
- Minimum 3 to 5 years related warehouse and/or distribution center experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year of supervisory experience preferred
- Experience with warehouse equipment
- Experience with warehouse management systems
- Experience with labor management systems
- PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
