Warehouse Operations Supervisor

Job Summary
Coordinate daily distribution center activities, supervise staff on order fulfillment, inventory management, and material handling, and prepare work schedules while managing labor hours and payroll. Interview and train new team members, appraise performance, resolve complaints, and ensure compliance with safety policies and ISO9002 procedures. Trace inventory discrepancies, recommend process improvements, and submit billing reports to customer services. Weekdays, weeknights, weekends, and weekend nights. High school diploma and 3–5 years warehouse experience required; supervisory experience preferred. GEODIS powers supply chains for top global brands.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalent
- Minimum 3 to 5 years related warehouse and/or distribution center experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year of supervisory experience preferred
- Experience with warehouse equipment
- Experience with warehouse management systems
- Experience with labor management systems
- PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
