Job Summary
Oversee all aspects of the Picking Department operations with a focus on accuracy, safety, and good housekeeping. Deliver merchandise to customers in a professional manner, report shipping errors, and maintain daily documentation. Direct employees by organizing workloads, training new staff, and supporting hiring and performance reviews. Maintain warehouse equipment, address mechanical issues, and communicate unsafe conditions immediately. Adhere to company policies while fostering a positive, team-oriented atmosphere in the Mocksville, NC distribution center.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or Associate's degree in Business or related or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in warehouse operations or distribution
- Dependable and able to work with little supervision
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment
- Flexible work hours
- Proven attendance records
- Must be accurate and have good attention to detail
- Must work in a safe, efficient and respectful manner with other personnel
- Follows good housekeeping procedures
- Adheres to all company and departmental policies and procedures
- Must possess problem solving resolution skills and be able to work in a fast paced and often stressful environment
- Previous experience with VAI or similar warehouse management or operating systems
- Proficient math skills
- Able to work effectively on a team and collaborate with various departments within Concordance
- Excellent problem solving, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
- Successfully pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check and drug screening
- Must be able to lift 70 pounds or more (with help as needed)
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in warehouse operations or distribution preferred
