Job Summary
Lead the second shift of 15-20 associates overseeing daily cross-dock operations, pick/pack orders, and inbound/outbound freight movement for retail clients like Walmart and Target. Coordinate with shift leaders, customer service, and drivers to ensure smooth facility flow while monitoring dock productivity, labor allocation, and shipment documentation accuracy. Enforce safety protocols through observations and incident investigations, maintain strict housekeeping standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives using WMS, RF scanners, and operational reporting tools. Assist with new employee training and onboarding while supporting the Retail Consolidation business to meet strict delivery timelines.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in cross-dock, logistics, transportation operations
- Comfort with technology, to include MS Excel, Outlook, and Teams
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to work overtime shifts, when required
- Experienced with multiple WMS and RF technology
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Spanish Language Proficiency preferred
