Job Summary
Oversees warehouse and operational functions for a larger facility, including logistics, warehousing, and inventory management. Manages Supervisors and Office Staff. Ensures workplace health and safety requirements are met and takes responsibility for the security of the building and product. 80% of job is management responsibilities. Provides leadership to assigned personnel through objective setting, delegation, and communication; develops and maintains productive business relations with vendors, suppliers, and shippers. Plans and manages the warehouse operational expenses to meet financial goals; prepares capital and operating budget; travels nationally as required; ensures regulatory compliance and ongoing safety programs; partners with Sales to align field operations with customer needs; drives process improvements and training; conducts performance reviews and development plans. Salary range $110k-$120k; requires a Bachelor7s degree in business and relevant warehouse/operations experience; must be able to obtain/maintain authorization to work in the United States.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in business
- 2 years warehouse/operations OR 6 years warehouse/operations experience
- Proven leadership skills in a supervisory warehouse, operational or related role
- Knowledgeable in material handling and inventory documentation
- Knowledge of budgeting, supply contracts and shipping requirements
- Excellent math and accounting, and financial interpretation skills
- Effective communicator to a wide range of people at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Strong ability to build and maintain customer and supplier relationships
- Knowledge in applicable computer software, Microsoft Office applications: Word and Excel
- Willing to travel nationally as required
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record
