Job Summary
Receive, store, stage, and deliver items while securing the warehouse and supervising staff. Operate forklifts and other equipment to unload materials and stage outbound loads for picking. Coordinate inventory transfers with Customer Service, conduct monthly physical counts, and reconcile variances. Manage facility maintenance, vendors, and suppliers for equipment rental, utilities, and supplies. Enforce safety protocols, ensure proper PPE usage, and troubleshoot equipment breakdowns. Organize floor space, recommend improvements, and contribute to strategic plans for production and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three to five years of inventory/warehouse coordination in a transloading warehouse setting
- supervisory experience
- Experience handling metals, plywood/forest products, supersacks, coils, steel structures, solar panels, and other general cargo
- Experience operating industrial lift trucks up to 36K pound capacity
