Warehouse Operations Manager

Job Summary
Manage all warehouse functions including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and policy administration for the Distribution center. Hire, orient, and train team members while reviewing weekly payroll and approving corrective actions. Ensure the facility maintains proper racking, lighting, temperature, and equipment for high-speed packaging operations. Supervise personnel, oversee contractor compliance, and handle quality control during receiving. Coordinate UPS, FedEx, international, and trucking shipments. Prioritize daily workload and resolve problems quickly within a corrections environment. Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, valid driver's license, and ability to lift 70 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Requires strong supervisory skills: a demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others
- Ability to work well in a team environment and create a team work environment by communicating effectively between shift/department
- Ability to define problems and resolve them quickly
- Ability to work well with ever changing priorities and situations
- Ability to prioritize workload on a daily basis
- Knowledge of Quality Procedures
- Ability to work inside a corrections environment
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
