Job Summary
Operations Manager overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations (receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping) and leading a team of supervisors and warehouse associates to achieve performance, safety, and service goals. Partners with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, drives continuous improvement focused on cost reduction and workflow optimization, manages staffing and scheduling, utilizes WMS and data analytics for visibility, and supports capital and technology initiatives while fostering accountability and teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in warehouse or distribution operations with proven success in a supervisory capacity at Generation Tux, including ownership of team performance and operational outcomes
- Strong knowledge of logistics, inventory control, and warehouse safety practices
- Proficient with WMS and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with data analytics tools is a plus
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage change, and drive performance improvements
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with competing priorities
