Job Summary
Oversee daily warehouse operations across two facilities, managing receiving, storage, shipping, inventory, and order fulfillment. Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, FIFO practices, and lot control while maintaining clean, audit-ready environments. Monitor productivity, labor utilization, and service levels to drive operational performance. Build and develop teams by recruiting, coaching, and mentoring employees and supervisors to foster accountability and continuous improvement. Lead Lean initiatives including 5S, Kaizen, and root cause analysis to identify and solve process inefficiencies. Collaborate with Procurement, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain leadership to communicate performance and implement organizational improvements. Ensure full compliance with SQF, FSMA, and OSHA standards.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of warehouse, distribution, logistics, or supply chain leadership experience
- 3+ years managing warehouse teams in a fast-paced manufacturing or distribution environment
- Experience overseeing multiple warehouse locations
- Strong knowledge of inventory control
- Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems
- Strong knowledge of Cycle counting and audits
- Strong knowledge of FIFO and lot control
- Strong knowledge of Warehouse workflow optimization
- Demonstrated success leading teams, improving operations, and delivering measurable results
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Experience overseeing multiple warehouse locations is preferred
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, or other continuous improvement methodologies is preferred
- Food manufacturing, food distribution, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or another regulated industry is highly preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Office
