Job Summary
Manage all logistics and warehouse processes for inbound and outbound carriers, including receiving, validating shipments, order picking, staging, and loading. Lead yard organization, coordinate yard-to-yard transfers, and maintain inventory controls through systematic audits and monthly tracking. Operate forklifts and heavy equipment while ensuring a safe, clean work environment that complies with OSHA regulations. Identify workplace hazards, oversee equipment maintenance, and provide customer service to internal and external partners. Maintain a zero-loss warehouse standard and complete all duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Highschool Diploma or GED
- 5+ years of experience as a Warehouse Technician/Manager
- Proven experience in maintaining a zero-loss warehouse/yard
- Proficient computer skills with an emphasis in MS Excel
- Ability work in a cross-functional solutions-based environment
- Proficient communication skills to all levels of the organization both written and verbal
- Proven and demonstrated planning skills increasing efficiency and effectiveness within Warehouse
- Ability to analyze and perform simple diagnostic procedures for equipment maintenance
- Previous experience with data entry process and internal/external systems
- Previous experience working in a cross-functional teams
- Lift at least 50lbs
- Operate Forklift and pallet jack and related equipment
- Forklift Certified
- Inventory Control experience
- Valid Driver's license
- Dependability - daily work schedule essential
