Job Summary
Acquire knowledge from the training leader to understand roles and importance of leading by building a culture of excellence. Collaborate with warehouse staff, learn all relevant policies and procedures, and assist leadership with training and administrative tasks. Take initiative to improve warehouse associate performance and efficiency, while assisting the Inventory Control Team with inventory control tasks, Waste Walks, and Seven Step Problem Solving. Prepare a presentation and report on an area of warehouse operations for ALDI executives. Attend company trainings, meetings, and interview events as appropriate. Maintain professionalism by demonstrating excellent attendance, adhering to guidelines, and meeting objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
- In current pursuit of Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
- Ability to develop rapport, trust and open communication that enhances the growth and job performance of store personnel
- Ability to stay organized and multi-task in a professional and efficient manner
- Ability to display initiative and a strong work ethic
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and work under strict deadlines
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures
- Gives attention to detail and follows instructions
- Frequently work in varying temperatures, hot and cold (including outdoor temperatures and refrigerator/freezer environments)
- Continuously standing; frequently required to sit, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry and walk throughout the warehouse
- Frequently required to lift and place product weighing up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights
- Minimal travel required as needed for job related duties such as training, project work and administrative tasks
