Job Summary
Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently, unload railcars as directed, gauge tanks to record temperature readings, collect product samples, and line up piping for material transfers. Follow all company safety procedures, perform general housekeeping, and maintain readiness to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme heat. You must be able to lift 50 pounds or more, climb ladders and stairs, and work without fear of heights. This entry-level trainee role requires no prior experience; on-the-job training is provided while you complete a two-week day shift orientation before moving to the permanent 4pm-12am schedule.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- able to read and write English
- English is required
- able to work outdoors year-round, including in extreme heat
- ability to lift 50 pounds or more
- comfortable climbing ladders and stairs
- not afraid of heights
- flexibility to work overtime and other shifts as needed
- no felony convictions within the last 7 years
Desired Qualifications
- Spanish is a plus
