Job Summary
Maintain and repair all equipment in the Distribution Centre, with a focus on forklift and related machinery. Perform preventative maintenance, coordinate workloads with the Maintenance Engineer or Section Leader, plan and execute maintenance activities, and ensure safe, efficient operation of equipment. Work a 6am start Monday to Friday, communicate effectively with team members, and keep a clean, organized work area while contributing to ALDI’s mission of delivering good products and value. Requires hands-on maintenance and repair skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Forklift and equipment maintenance and repair experience
- Self-motivated with ability to work autonomously and in a team
- Confident communication and positive interaction with others
- Adaptable and flexible under pressure
- Ability to stay composed and efficient at work
- Operating machinery safely and efficiently
- Scheduling and carrying out preventative maintenance activities
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
