Job Summary
Lead daily warehouse and materials operations by coordinating receipt, storage, movement, and issuance of materials. Maintain accurate inventory levels through cycle counts and audits, ensuring transactions are entered correctly into the ERP system. Prepare shipping and receiving documentation while investigating discrepancies. Work closely with Production, Purchasing, and Manufacturing teams to ensure material availability. Train and mentor warehouse personnel, promoting a safe environment and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Follow safety policies and best practices to maintain an organized facility.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse or materials experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong inventory management and inventory control experience
- Experience with ERP or computerized inventory systems
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Strong documentation and record-keeping skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, and move throughout the shift
Desired Qualifications
- Previous lead or supervisory experience
- Experience with cycle counting and physical inventory
- Shipping and receiving experience
- Forklift certification or the ability to become certified
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or 5S principles
