Warehouse/Materials Handling Supervisor

Job Summary
Conduct daily shift meetings, schedule and train material handlers, and maintain staffing levels for 24/7 operations at the catalyst recycling facility. Supervise loading and unloading of trucks and railcars, coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, and verify shipping documentation for accuracy. Ensure proper identification, labeling, and storage of hazardous materials while maintaining accurate inventory records and performing equipment preventative maintenance. Lead routine safety observations, workplace inspections, and compliance checks with OSHA, HASMAT, and RCRA regulations. Maintain orderly laydown yards and enforce strict safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of three years of industrial material handling experience
- Minimum of three years of supervisory experience in chemical, manufacturing, or industrial operations
- Must be able to pass a respirator fit test
- Forklift certification
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Must wear PPE when required
- Push, pull, and lift a minimum of up to 50 pounds
- Stand, sit, walk, reach, bend, squat, kneel, and climb stairs/ladders for an entire shift
- Must be available for weekend, holidays, overtime, and respond to plant emergencies
- Support a continuous 24-hour operations
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with hazardous materials handling
- Knowledge of DOT shipping requirements
- Working knowledge of OSHA, HASMAT, RCRA
