Job Summary
Warehouse Material Handler needed to load/unload, stock tires and auto parts in a fast-paced warehouse. Use industrial vehicles (forklift/picker), scanners for inventory control, and work on your feet with frequent lifting (50 lb consistently, up to 80 lb). May assist other departments such as ecomm, inventory, and will call. Must meet safety policies, pass forklift certification, and be able to work overtime. Competitive starting wage of $18/hour with benefits including health care, 401(k) with match, and paid time off. Position requires ability to work at heights up to 25 feet and lift up to 80 pounds, with protective equipment provided; company emphasizes safety and teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older to operate equipment
- 1 year of warehouse/logistics or relevant experience
- Ability to safely lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds
- Ability to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds
- Ability to work at heights of 25 feet while operating equipment and maintaining safety standards
- Abide by all Company safety policies and state and federal transportation regulations and manufacturing guidelines
- Ability to pass forklift certification
- Willing to work overtime as needed
- Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test (do not test for THC / marijuana)
