Job Summary
Load and unload trucks, pick and put away all product types, and maintain thorough knowledge of inventory, stock locations, model numbers, and handling instructions. Operate power and non-powered equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with all policies and procedures. Carry and lift products exceeding 50 lbs regularly while applying proficient safe material handling techniques. Meet deadlines and demonstrate excellent communication skills. Experience with order pickers, pallet jacks, narrow aisle, and counter balance equipment is an asset. Flexibility to work shifts including evenings and weekends is required.
Required Qualifications
- Able to carry and lift product exceeding 50 lbs. on a regular basis (loading appliances, etc.)
- Proficient knowledge of safe material handling techniques
- Excellent communication skills
- Be able to meet deadlines
- Flexibility to work shifts including evenings and weekends, as required
- Should pass a criminal background check sponsored by The Brick
Desired Qualifications
- Experience operating, order picker, pallet jacks, narrow aisle and counter balance is an asset
