Job Summary
Conduct random and initial inspections on incoming materials by following the Incoming Inspection Process. Receive materials into designated locations using the computer or WMS scanner, then operate forklifts to move up to 2000 lbs of material to production areas. Manage materials via the inventory control system for receiving, transfer, and storage. Prepare outgoing shipments using protective materials such as pallet stretch-wrapping and banding. Maintain cleanliness of warehouse storage areas, loading docks, and outdoor zones, while assisting in the disposal of waste material. Work Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., approximately 30-40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a warehouse environment
- Ability to operate forklifts
- Ability to operate pallet stretch-wrapping machine
- Ability to operate cardboard baling machine
- Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
- Experience in reporting on key Inventory Control metrics
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP software
- Outstanding communication ability
- Excellent organizational and leaderships skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
- Experience with Six Sigma and Lean Concepts
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
