Job Summary
Warehouse Material Handler on 2nd shift loads/unloads and stocks tires and auto parts in a fast-paced warehouse using forklift or picker equipment. Uses scanners to locate and put away tires and assist with inventory control. Must frequently lift 50 pounds and occasionally up to 80 pounds, with team lifts or mechanical assistance for tires and up to 40-pound pushing force for barrels and tires. Some ramps to 25 feet high; must be comfortable working on feet for extended periods and may work overtime. Contributes to safety policy adherence and may assist other departments (ecomm, inventory, will call) as needed. Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older to operate equipment
- 1 year of warehouse/logistics or relevant experience
- Ability to safely lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds
- Ability to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds
- Ability to work at heights of 25 feet while operating equipment
- Abide by all Company safety policies and state and federal transportation regulations and manufacturing guidelines
- Ability to pass forklift certification
- Willing to work overtime as needed
- Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test (do not test for THC / marijuana)
