Job Summary
Direct all warehouse operations consistent with company practices by supervising a team of employees and delivery drivers, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and disciplinary actions. Manage the reception, handling, distribution, and storage of all freight, product, and supplies while ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient receiving, storage, and shipment. Dispatch in-house trucks or utilize third-party providers to meet customer delivery service goals and schedules, communicating all delays or variances in inbound/outbound freight. Develop and manage preventative maintenance programs for warehouse equipment, ensuring employees have proper certification and training. Maintain strict control over inventory levels, coordinate annual physical inventory activities, and investigate discrepancies. Ensure compliance with all applicable policies regarding security and safety, and maintain appropriate documentation for regulated products and hazardous materials.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA in a related discipline
- 7+ years of experience in a related field
- May require certification
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for periods of time up to and exceeding 60 minutes
- Ability to make repetitive movements, such as using a 10-key or calculator, bending, or squatting
- No travel required
